Living Colour
Vivid
The 1988 album Vivid by Living Colour is a genre-bending classic, full of funk and punk-inspired tracks. Described as "a collection of sonic paintings," the album features some of the band's most popular songs, including "Cult of Personality," "Glamour Boys," and "Funny Vibe." Although the album failed to make the Billboard Top 200 list, it was certified double platinum and has since become a cult classic. What's more, the album was the first to be released on Epic Records with a parental advisory label. Its iconic cover art, designed by the band's lead guitarist Vernon Reid, is now widely recognized as a classic album cover.
