White Blood Cells
White Blood Cells, the third album by Detroit duo The White Stripes, is an iconic and genre-defining record. Released in 2001, it marks a significant departure from the band's earlier blues-influenced sound and instead embraces a more garage rock aesthetic. The album was recorded in a mere two weeks and was produced by the legendary Jack White. With its raw energy and infectious melodies, White Blood Cells features some of the band's most memorable tracks, including "Fell in Love with a Girl," "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground," and "Hotel Yorba." The album was an instant success, reaching number 61 on the US Billboard 200 and going on to be certified platinum in the United States. As a testament to its lasting legacy, White Blood Cells has been included on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list.
